Wording
> Order of the Day Wording
An Order of the Day gives your family and friends a memento
of your special day. They are often used for Civil Ceremonies
where the preceeding are perhaps a little less formal. They
provide an outline of the days events.
> Typeface
As with Orders of Service, our Order of the Day designs have
a fixed standard typeface (similar to the text on this page)
for the body of the service text. However the title page ( the
part has the venue and bridal couples names) can often be printed
in a typeface to match the rest of the stationery.
> Running Order
Because an Order of the Day tends to be used for non-religious
ceremonies they are usually shorter than an Order of Service
and the text will fit comfortably on 4 printed sides. The front
page of the insert will cover the wedding details, the next
3 will cover the running of the day from your guest's arrival
to their exit. Since you have 4 printed sides of an insert included
in the price you may want to use them all to provide your guests
with all the written detail of your day. For example.

Page 4 - Menu
Whilst it can be a good idea to include the menu details as
well they should not really be used as a replacment for printed
Menus at your wedding breaksfast. Orders of the Day are handed
out to guests as they arrive at your wedding. They can get left
around or lost in a handbag by the time it comes to your wedding
breakfast.
