Card ( R.S.V.P.) Wording
A reply card is not essential if you have put an R.S.V.P address
on the invitation itself. However, if you want your guests to
reply quickly it is always helpful to include a Reply Card in
with your invitation to make things easier for your guests to
respond.
> Wording
Wording is usually quite simple on your reply cards as show
in the first example below. After all, their main purpose is
to inform you whether or not they are attending your wedding
and to enable you to finalise numbers for the venue and catering
etc. They can also be used to gain some more information to
help with your planning. For example, you can request that your
guests let you you know of any special dietary requirements,
or whether they require accomodation, travel arrangements etc.

> RSVP before date
Many couples these days choose to put an RSVP date on their
reply cards so that they receive their guests replies before
a specific date. This is helpful for planning the meals at
your wedding and also other wedding stationery items such
as Orders and Service and Menus. It is a good idea to have
the RSVP date inside the invitation rather than the reply
card because many guests will not read the reply card properly
until they are ready to return it. The reply date typically
goes beneath the R.S.V.P letters on your invitation as shown
in the example below.
