Classic Letterpress proved to be exactly the extremely classy and traditional design we were looking for. It's not cheap but we thought it was worth it anyway! The orders of service arrived well in advance of the expected delivery date in spite of a few delays during the proofing process. My only criticism was that I don't see that it's particularly necessary to charge a further £15 for emendations - everyone makes mistakes the first time, don't they? - but only for second emendations.

Olivia Samuel Comments:
The Letterpress of Cirencester offer one free proof for each item ordered. Unfortunately, the £15.00 reproof charge (if required) is charged by the Letterpress of Cirencester if a second proof is required for changes that are not from their error. Because we discount the Letterpress pricing quite heavily we do need to pass this cost on to our customer to remain competitive. If the change is only minor (i.e to correct a spelling mistake for example) you can request the change is made and the job printed without seeing a second proof thus removing the reproof charge. Please note that the Letterpress offer TWO free proofs for Orders of Service and the second proof charge only applies to items from The Letterpress of Cirencester collection; all our suppliers offer unlimited free reproofs

Samples were received fast and Kim Finch was extremely helpful and should be praised for her excellent customer service skills. However, I felt that the delay in printing was unacceptable and the website was not clear on timings. Over all I was annoyed by the whole experience.

We agree with the above comments. The customer placed their order in April this year and the lead time from the Letterpress did extend due to unprecedented demand. This was not accurately reflected on our website and the delivery time we quoted at the time was some 7-10 working days shorter than it actually was. We now check lead times on a regular basis with the Letterpress and ensure these are updated on the main Letterpress page (click here).

I was looking for something very classic and struggled to find it other than from yourselves. It arrived as expected and i received some very positive comments. i would recommend to others and found ordering easy. The only thing i would add is that it would be good to receive an estimated delivery date (to reassure the bride!).
